Concert by Symphonic Orchestra of Turkey to take place at Heydar Aliyev Center - PHOTOS

A concert by the famous Turkish Bilkent Symphonic Orchestra will take place at the Heydar Aliyev Center on Jan. 29", the information of the Center said on Monday.

Violinist and honored artist of Azerbaijan Toghrul Ganiyev will perform under the conductor and artistic head of the orchestra Ishin Metin.

At the Baku concert of the Bilkent Symphonic Orchestra, which acts as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, attendees will enjoy the works of Turkish, German and Russian composers Ulvi Jemal Erkin, Felix Mendelssohn and Sergei Rachmaninov.

One of the orchestra's most important activities is to create a musical bridge between countries. The orchestra has performed at a lot of international festivals in Italy, San-Marino, Switzerland, given concerts in Germany, Portugal, Belgium and Japan.
