Well-known artist Nigar Narimanbekova will represent Azerbaijan at a prestigious international exhibition of contemporary art in Paris. Narimanbekova will present seven of her paintings from the series "Childhood dreams" at the international event.
The exhibition will be held on October 24-27 at the Centre Pierre Cardin (Espace PIERRE CARDIN). The event will be held under the patronage of the world-renowned fashion designer.
Some eight artists from different countries will present works at the exhibition.
Nigar Narimanbekova, who lives and works in Paris and Baku, graduated from Azerbaijan State Art School named after A. Azimzade and All-Union State Institute of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov (RSIC) in Moscow. She has participated in a number of national and international art exhibitions in France, Germany, Austria, Azerbaijan, etc.
Narimanbekova is a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the International Association of Art (IAA/AIAP). Paintings of the artist are displayed in the exhibition halls of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Museum of Art of Azerbaijan as well as in private collections.
