Azerbaijan has produced over 1.6 bln kVt/hour during July, 2011, up 23% from June.
According to Azerenrji OJSC, oif this, 1.4 bln kVt/h came from heat power stations, 0.2 bln kVt/h – from water power stations.
Energy exchange with Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia continued during the month.
Totally, 11.7 bln kVt/h of energy has been produced during January-July, 2011, which 9.8 bln kVt/h came from HPS, 1.9 bln kVt/h – from WPS. Energy production rose 6.4% compared to a year earlier.
