12 new electric stations launched in Baku

12 new electric stations have been launched in Baku, said spokesman for Bakielektrikshebeke Tanriverdi Mustafayev.
He said two substations were erected in the Narimanov district of Baku and one in Shikhovo settlement of Qaradagh.

"The remaining 9 substations were launched in Azizbeyov, Surakhany, Sabunchi, Binagadi, Khatai. Sabail districts of Baku", said Mustafayev.

He noted that 120,000 electric meters were set in Baku in 2008.

It should be noted that construction of new substations, replacement of air energy distribution lines with underground ones and completion of the process of meters installation are planned in line with the program for 2007-2009 and 2009-2010, ratified by the board of Bakielektrikshebeke.
