Tanker Nasiba Zeynalova launched into the sea

The vessel is named Nasiba Zeynalova after the popular artist of Azerbaijan, laureate of the State Premium, who devoted over 60 years of her life to the stage.

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for a group of companies "Offshore and oil and gas projects" that the contract envisions construction of 10 product carriers-chemical substances carriers. The contract was signed for the first five years in February of 2007. A contract for another five option tankers was concluded in December of 2007. The head tanker Kura River was launched into the sea in March of this year.

The vessel is 139.95 meters in length 16.60 meters in width, 6 meters in height. It was a deadweight in the sea of about 7000 tons under 4.6 meters of immersion, in the river 4700 tons under 3.6 meters of immersion, capacity of six cargo tanks and two waste tabks 8090 cubic meters, head engine capacity 2x1200 KW, operational speed 10.5 knots.

The launching ceremony was attended by Palmali Group vice president for control and audit Rauf Aliyev, vice president for commercial activity Ramiz Mamedov, Jahangir Novruzov (Nasiba Zeynalova's son) and Elnara Novruzova (Novruzov's wife) and others.
