Azercell president can be replaced

22 May 2008 [09:06] - TODAY.AZ
President of Azercell mobile operator Helim Atesh has been appointed chief operating manager of Fintur Holdings B.V., a joint venture of TeliaSonera and Turkcell, Day.Az reports with reference to a source from the company.

As is reported, on his new position in Istanbul, Atesh will be responsible for all commercial operations of the companies, coordinated by Fintur Holdings B.V. and the joint activity within the group.

Despite these impressive duties, it is reported that Helim Atesh will remain president of Azercell. He was appointed the president of this company in April of 2006.

Considering the fact that consolidated revenues of Fintur Holdings B.V. exceeded $1.5 bln in 2007, the wide front of works, facing Atesh, reduces possibility of his remaining on two positions, so Azercell will have a new leader in the near future.

Meanwhile, Day.Az reports that new vice president Ali Agan  has been recently appointed for the company.

Perhaps, he will replace Helim Atesh in the position of the president, but time will show whether our forecasts were correct.
