An opening ceremony of local representation of the Korean Trade Promotion Agency will be held in Baku on May 19.

A source from the Azerbaijan Export and Investments Promotion Foundation told Day.Az that the ceremony will be attended by head of the Commercial and Industrial chamber of South Korea Sang Yeol Kim, KOTPA vice president on foreign investments Kyungsun Min, Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev, AZPROMO President Emil Mejidov and others.
It should be noted that KOTPA was founded on June 21 of 1962 for assistance to development of trade between South Korea and other countries. KOTPA has been assisting interested companies in developing business relations with Korea for over 40 years.
For effective execution of its functions, KOTPA has created a wide network of foreign representations. KOTPA currently accounts for 106 representations in 76 countries.
