Concept of "standard monetary unit" is dropped out of the Criminal and Administrative Codes, said the parliamentary commission on the legal policy and state-building in its meeting on Monday, APA reports.

The chairman of the commission Ali Huseynov said citizens have previously been fined within the above-mentioned codes in the standard monetary unit.
According to the proposed change, standard monetary unit is shown now in absolute figures on the separate articles.
Ali Huseynov said the concept of standard monetary unit was dropped out of the analogical laws in many countries of the world.
After the discussions the issue was recommended for consideration to the parliament.
