Azerbaijan, Turkey to sign memorandum of cooperation in securities

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service of the State Committee for Securities, the agreement on the said issue was reached during the visit of Gunduz Mamedov, chairman of the State Committee for Securities of Azerbaijan, delegation of the National Depository Center and Baku Stock Exchange to Istanbul (Turkey).

It should be noted that the visit included meetings in the Turkey Council for Securities, Center Registration Agency, Istanbul Stock Exchange and Takasbank.

The meeting participants discussed possible application of new financial instruments to boost cooperation, prospects of cooperation between the National Depository Center and Takasbank, as well as Baku and Istanbul Stock Exchanges.
