Azerbaijan to take part in Georgian railroad privatization

The due announcement was made by Azerbaijan's Transport Minister Ziya Mamedov, Day.Az reports.

He noted that Georgia has made a request for initial investment of about $2,000,000,000 to the railway infrastructure. The Minister said that a number of foreign companies, including two American firms, one Russia, as well as Swiss and Kazakh have presented their proposals on the said issue.

According to Z.Mamedov, Azerbaijan also intends to participate and present its proposals.
