State Statistical Committee: "There are more than 50,000 unemployed people in Azerbaijan"

As of January 1, Azerbaijan’s economically active population reached 4.295,000, of which 4,010,000 have jobs, State Statistical Committee announces.

In January-November, 5,000 foreigners were hired by enterprises and companies, operating in Azerbaijan.

50,651 people were registered as jobless in recruitment agencies as of January 1. Of them 50% are women.

There are 4 unemployed people per vacancy.
