Azerbaijan, Switzerland sign memorandum of ICT cooperation

The document was signed by Ali Abbasov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Communications and Information Technologies, and Moritz Leuenberger, head of Swiss Federal Department of Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications.

The document emphasizes Azerbaijan’s role in high-speed data transmission route between Europe and Asia.

The memorandum will also lay basis for cooperation in improvement of the postal system and introduction of new technologies in Azerbaijan.
