Azerbaijan-Egypt Intergovernmental Commission signed a final protocol of the third meeting in Baku.

The document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev and Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Fayza Aboul Naga.
The co-chairs of the commission also signed an Agreement on Customs Affairs, Protocol of Scientific Research between Ministries of Agriculture, Protocol of Cooperation between Institute of Manuscripts under Azerbaijan's National Academy of Science and Egyptian National Library, as well as Memo of Understanding between Azerbaijan Television and Radio Company and Egyptian Television and Radio Union.
Heydar Babayev said the documents will pave the way for further expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
Egyptian minister noted that during her visit, she had met with Azerbaijani President and government officials, visited Absheron and was informed about Azerbaijan’s social and economic potential.
She added that there are good opportunities for deeper cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
