SOCAR plans to purify polluted territories

Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) intends to purify the oil-polluted territories in Bibiheybat.

Company's Vice-President Khoshbekht Yusifzade said the company is working on projects aimed at the purification of the oil-polluted areas. Some 30,000 hectares of territory were polluted in Absheron Peninsula and these territories underwent man-caused erosion and oil pollution. APA-Economics
