German Ambassador: "Germany won't sign individual energy cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan"

Germany is not going to sign an individual agreement on energy cooperation with Azerbaijan, German Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Per Stankina stated.

The Ambassador said Azerbaijan already has an agreement with the EU on energy security cooperation, APA reports.

"Azerbaijan has signed a deal on energy security cooperation with the EU. It means the agreement has been signed with Germany as an EU member state. So, Germany doesn't plan to individually conclude any agreement with Azerbaijan in this field," he said.
