Afshar Suleymani: "Azsamand automobile plant in Shamakhi will be opened shortly"

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani told journalists that official opening ceremony of Azsamand car factory in Shamakhi will take place and Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev is expected to attend the ceremony as well.

"All construction has been completed in the plant. The construction was funded by Iranian Export Bank and will make 6500-7000 cars a year so far."

He also said that Iran has initiated to work on North-South transport corridor, APA reports.
