Azerbaijan posseses 6,5-7 billions tons of oil in its sector of the Caspian Sea

The Association of Geophysics and Engineering Geology of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan published results of its recent researches.

According to the estimations by researches at the Association of Geophysics and Engineering Geology of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, the total volume of oil reserves in the Caspian Sea is 15-20 billions tons, including 6,5-7 billions in its Azerbaijani sector, with gas reserves here making up 10 trillions cubic meters.
