Arbiters’ sentence on court examination between SOCAR, Frontera Resources to be made by late 2005

The issue of sentence on court examination between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and American Frontera Resources, formerly involved into the development of the onshore field ‘Kursangi-Garabagli’, is postponed to late 2005.
Frontera Resources brought a suit against the SOCAR in the amount of the $23mn for caused damage. $15, 737, 447 of it is demanding amount, $7mn – added percents, about $600,000 – lawyer’s cost, $300,000 – costs of arbitrage court. (Trend)
