AZAL to perform more flights to Istanbul

Azerbaijan Airlines, Azerbaijan's biggest airline and national flag carrier will increase the number of flights on the Baku-Istanbul route.

All the flights will land on the Ataturk International Airport.

"Passengers will be able to take advantage of an additional daily flight starting from March 15," AZAL's website says.

The J2 079/080 flight will be carried out on the following schedule:

Departure from Baku at 1:25pm - Arrival in Istanbul at 2:30pm
Departure from Istanbul at 3:30pm - Arrival in Baku at 8:25pm

As a regional and CIS leader in terms of the number of new aircrafts, AZAL offers its passenger flights to European countries, the CIS, Middle East, Asia and the United States.

Currently, AZAL's fleet consists of Boeing B-787-8, Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300, Airbus 319, Airbus A320, Airbus A340-500, Embraer ERJ 170-100LR and Embraer ERJ 190-100. The company cooperates with about 60 airlines to provide its passengers with an opportunity to travel leisurely around the world.
