Central Business District may be established in Baku

Central Business District is offered to be establsihed in Baku.

Pursuant to the city general plan, one of the principal offers is about establishment of the Central business district in the central part of the city, Day.Az informs citing to Anspress.
 
Reported that the idea has been expressed by the director of the Baku State Project Institute Ilgar Isbatov, who is the coordinator of the "Greater Baku Regional Development Plan" project (scheme).

According to him, creation of 2 alternative sub-centers in Sabunchu and Binagadi districts, ecological corridor -  green belts - between Boyuk Shor lake and the Caspian sea are included in the offers.

I.Isbatov reported on the other offers made by the body under his management. Seaside National Park should be broadened 70-100 meters seawards from the Shikh beach up to the territory of Zigh settlement in accordance with the mentioned offers. Appropriate work on fortification of the coastal line should be done, as well.

At the same time, creation of the Urban Zone of Protection would be good to preserve historical monuments in the city center. Bibiheybat settlement should develop as a modern zone.
