Azerbaijani gasification to reach 99 percent by 2015, says SOCAR

The level of gasification in Azerbaijan will reach 99 percent by 2015, the head of SOCAR, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Rovnag Abdullayev said on Dec.28 at an event summing up the year of 2013.

SOCAR's head stressed that the level of gasification has already reached 90 percent.
The total number of gas customers in Azerbaijan exceeds 1.6 million.

To improve gas supply and increase gasification in the country nine thousand kilometers of pipelines were built.
