SOCAR carries out repair on main gas pipeline in Azerbaijan

Due to repair works on the Kazi Magomed-Gazakh main gas pipeline, there will be a limited gas supply in Azerbaijan's Goychay region until September 10, 18:00, the Azerigaz Production Association (PA) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) told Trend on Monday.

Azerigaz PA is engaged in the distribution and sale of gas across Azerbaijan.

The PA reported that the reduced service will take place from September 9, 10:00 due to the repairs on the gas valve at the Kazi Magomed-Gazakh pipeline's branch in the direction of the Goychay region.

SOCAR's Department for Gas Export is engaged in the repairs as the country's main gas pipelines are included in the department's balance sheet.

Azerigaz reported that the repair work will not affect gas supplies in Georgia, because it is being carried out on the second main gas pipeline through which the gas is being delivered to the country's consumers.
