Russian-Azerbaijani business persons to gather in Volgograd

The Russian-Azerbaijani Forum will be held in June in Russian city Volgograd. As part of the Forum the Azerbaijani and Russian sides are expected to sign a long-term agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Volgograd oblast of Russia.

According to Russian media, Azerbaijan is among the top ten counterparty countries of the of the Volgograd region in foreign trade area. According to the Governor of Volgograd Region Sergei Bozhenov, the regional government can offer Azerbaijani investors a number of new industrial and infrastructure projects and sign a long-term partnership agreement with Azerbaijan "Until now, we did not have a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijan, but now such a document is being developed," said Bozhenov.
