EU hails signing of TANAP by Shahdeniz-2 and Nabucco

Günther Oettinger, the European Union commissioner for energy has welcomed signing of the agreement between Shahdeniz-2 and Nabucco consortiums on Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP).

The European Union commissioner stated this in Brussels estimating this as a new step for realization of the “South Corridor”.

At his words, ratification by Azerbaijan and Turkey of the TANAP agreement will enable to create a specialized infrastructure to transport Azerbaijani gas to Europe.
