SOCAR expects growth in oil production

President of Azerbaijan`s state oil company, SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev has said the country will produce more oil in 2013 than this year. “We expect growth in our production in 2013. In April, a new production platform will be installed at Azeri-Cchirag-Gunashli under the Chirag Oil project, which will also provide a stable level of oil production.”

Abdullayev added a new long-term program for the period until 2020 will be prepared to ensure long-term stable production in the volume of 35 million tons of oil a year at ACG.
