Fazil Ibrahimov's candidacy as auditor of Accounting Chamber approved

The Azerbaijani parliament has approved Fazil Ibrahimov's candidacy as an auditor of the Accounting Chamber.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy on Tuesday.

Chairman Ziyad Samadzade spoke at the meeting. He said that the Chamber has recently intensified its activity.

"Ibrahimov worked at the Ministry of Finance for a long time," he said. "He has been an employee of the Accounting Chamber since 2005. He made an important contribution to this activity."

Ibrahimov's candidacy was unanimously adopted. An auditor is chosen for a period of seven years.
