Insurer Database integrated into CBA info system

The Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund's account information database has been integrated into the KOMIS system (centralized information system for mass payments) under the Central Bank, chairman of the State Fund Salim Muslimov told reporters on Friday.

"The State Fund and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan established a communication channel based on the AzDATACOM network," Muslimov said.

"All transactions in the payment of state social insurance contributions in electronic form will be implemented through KOMIS, as well as other payments for public utilities."

He said that in July, insurers will be able to provide statements for the first half and second quarter in electronic form.

These activities are carried out to implement the orders for the payment of fees for services and other payments electronically in real time. Instructions are given within the decree of the President of the country dated May 23, 2011 "On some of the activities in the field of provision of electronic services by public authorities."
