Over 130 countries show interest in Azerbaijan’s permit system

More than 5000 users used the services of the portal www.icazeler.gov.az in April this year, created to inform the public about permitting documents for entrepreneurship, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development said today.

"The number of the countries visiting the website has exceeded 130, including the U.S, Great Britain, France, Austria and Russia," the ministry said. The Ministry of Economic Development added it expects great interest in this e-portal.

This portal is a one-stop information source for businessmen. There are necessary permits, procedures for their preparation and submission of documents to start or expand business.

There is a section of services on the portal. The bills on entrepreneurship developed by central and local executive bodies will be available there.

According to the Azerbaijani President's decree on 'Some issues on licensing and permit system required for entrepreneurship', it is planned to create a portal.
