Real property registration simplified in Azerbaijan

As a part of the project on application of e-services, the State Committee for Property Affairs intends to start accepting electronic appeals of the population for real property facilities’ registration since 1 May.

Today at the presentation of information system of real estate facilities’ electronic registration , Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Rafig Jalilov reported that the Committee started provision of e-services at the site of State Real Property Registry Service from 1 March (emdkdedrx.gov.az ).

" These services imply reception of e-appeals after which the citizen is sent the notice on visiting day and the list of necessary documents. From 1 May we are planning to conduct real property facilities’ registration through electronic services ,"  Jalilov said.

Jalilov added that application of electronic services in real property facilities’ registration process will first of all increase transparency of real property registration, reduce time loss and give impetus to real property market dynamics.

"Within automation of our activity we also started the process of creation of electronic information archive on real property facilities. At present information on over 190.000 real property facilities has been included in single archive base, which are connected to National registration system of State Real Property Registry Service. 18 territorial administrations of State Committee are already connected to single information system of the Service Administration. Thus , we have created single corporate network, equipped on advanced technologies," Jalilov said.

Information system of Real property registry presented today will be created by winners of earlier announced tender- NETCAD/Saybernet consortium, within joint project with the World Bank " Real Property Registration".
