Protocol on exchange of ratification documents of Agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments between Azerbaijani and Saudi Arabian governments signed

A protocol on exchange of ratification documents of the Agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments between the governments of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia has been signed today.

The document was signed by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Saudi Arabia`s ambassador to Azerbaijan Fahd bin Ali al-Dusari.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister and Saudi Arabian ambassador discussed relations between the two countries, particularly bilateral economic cooperation.

The Agreement was signed during President Ilham Aliyev's official visit to Saudi Arabia in 2005.
