Sergey Kuznetsov: "We'll wait for Azerbaijan for another week"

The Council of Europe Venice Commission elections and referendums department was surprised at the statement "The Venice Commission has not made any proposals to Azerbaijani Parliament regarding amendments to Electoral Code," made by head of Azerbaijani Parliament office Sefa Mirzayev.

The department official Sergey Kuznetsov told that the Venice Commission and the Azerbaijani government have agreed that the Government will present its offers on the Commission's proposals, APA reports.

"We are waiting for the Government to submit the offers. We'll wait for another week, if there is no offer, we’ll contact the Government for that," Mr.Kuznetsov said.
