President Aliyev congratulates his Tajik counterpart

President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has congratulated his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmonov and his people on the Day of Independence of the Republic.

Extending his best wishes on national holiday of Tajikistan, the Head of the Azerbaijan State expressed hope for further development of the traditional friendly and cooperation relations for welfare of two nations and strengthening of peace and progress in region.

President Aliyev wished to the Tajik president robust health, success in work, and the Tajik people - peace, welfare and tranquility.
