Nazih Gassoub: "I do not know whether Azerbaijani refugees return to Lebanon"

"Most of the Azerbaijanis evacuated from Lebanon are living refugee life. Like the Lebanese people, Azerbaijanis also suffer from the troubles caused by Israel," said Azerbaijan's honorary consul in Lebanon Nazih Gassoub.

He told the APA exclusively he did not know the exact number of Azerbaijanis in Lebanon now.

"I cannot contact most of them due to closed roads, lack of petrol. The conditions are critical here," he underlined.

The honorary consul said he did not know whether or not the evacuated Azerbaijanis have came back to the country.
