Price of Schengen visa increased

Those intending to visit Schengen countries will have to pay 60 euros Consular fee from October this year.

This cost is 35 euros at present. The decision on increasing the cost was adopted at the meeting of the European Union Interior and Justice Ministers Board. This decision will not be applied on the countries having the treaty on simplified visa procedure with the EU.

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry told APA that Azerbaijan has not such treaty with the European Union. So, Azerbaijani citizens will also have to pay 60 euros to get Schengen visa.
