According to updated data, Georgia's GDP in 2010 amounted to 20,743.4 million lari ($ 1 = 1.65 lari) up 15.3 per cent from the previous year, Zaza Chelidze, Director of the State Statistics Committee of Georgia said.

"We obtain GDP growth preliminary figures on the basis of quarterly studies. Once a year is over, we begin to study the year's statistics to make GDP nominal indicator more precise," Chelidze said.

According to him, the real growth of GDP, compared with the previous year was 6.3 percent and deflation was 8.5 percent.
