Iran plans to create the long-range anti-missile surface-to-surface, surface-to-air, surface-to-sea complex, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi was quoted by Mehr news agency as saying.

In early May, the Iranian armed forces received two new types of weapons: anti-tank and anti-helicopter.

The peculiarity of the anti-tank weapon is in its ability to find weaknesses in the armor of the tank and hit it on top. The anti-helicopter weapon has a laser sight. It is characterized by a maximum accuracy of hitting the mark.

Vahidi said that a large-scale production of these weapons has already begun.

He also stressed that at present, different means of the anti-aircraft defense are under production. They will be delivered to the armed forces in the nearest future.
