ran opened international conference of "International Alliance against Terrorism for a Just Peace" on Saturday, ISNA reported.
The Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, the Secretary General of the International Ahlul Bayt World Assembly Mohammad Hassan Akhtari as well as 150 foreign thinkers and hundreds of Iranian activists on peace and battling terrorism have attended the conference.
The gathering mainly seeks creation of mutual understanding, wise thinking and international fair efforts to annihilate terrorism.
Also four specialized meetings with the topic of terrorism are to be held on the sidelines of the conference.
The international conference closes on Sunday.
