Vote count of by-elections to the Armenian parliament in the 10th district of Yerevan has ended.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, National Unity Deputy Ara Simonyan won the race with 7.622 votes.

Opposition Armenian National Congress representative, Haykakan Zhamanak daily Chief Editor Nikol Pashinyan gained 5.023 votes, whereas Marxist Party Leader David Hakobyan — 299.

About 24.3 percent of voters took part in the elections, that is, 13 566 out of 55 851.

A total of 438 ballots were recognized invalid.
