Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has left for the Swiss city of Lausanne to attend the ministerial level talks on the Syrian crisis.

Foreign ministers of Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, the US, Russia and Saudi Arabia are expected to partake in the talks on Saturday, IRNA news agency reported.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari accompanies Zarif during the visit.
