A bus carrying police officers has been blown up in Turkey’s Igdir province, TRT Haber TV channel reported Sept.8.

Reportedly, twelve representatives of the security forces were killed as a result of the explosion.
The number of injured is currently being defined.

Following the explosion, Turkish armed forces kicked off a large-scale operation against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in Igdir province.
