Marriage age for girls raised in Azerbaijan

Marriage age limit for girls has been raised in Azerbaijan.

At today’s sitting of the Azerbaijani parliament the marriage age limit has been raised to 18. Hitherto the marriage age for girls was 17, after the amendments to the Family Code, the age limit became 18.
