Ibrahimbayov's film to be nominated for Oscar

"The Nomad", directed by well-known Azerbaijan people's artist Rustam Ibrahimbayov will be nominated for Oscar American Film Academy Award.

The film, made by request of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, is of important significance for self-assertion of Kazakh nation.

$30 mln has been spent for film shooting, which brought together about 150 foreign specialists.

To date, 5 mln people watched film in Kazakhstan and Russia, while 3 mln in Ukraine. There was secured order from USA, Canada and Australia.

A film's copy was gifted to Azerbaijan State Film Fund. AzerTAg
