Draw held for Commonwealth Cup football tournament

The draw has been held for the group stage of the 15th Commonwealth Cup football tournament due to be held in the Russian capital Moscow.

Azerbaijani club Baki are drawn in Group B with Moldavian Sherif, Estonian Levadia and Kyrgyz Dordoy-Dynamo.

Group A has Russian CSKA Moscow, Kazakh Astana, Belarussian BATE.

The group's last team must be from Tajikistan.

But it is not yet clear which Tajik club will win the right to compete in the competition as the Tajikistan’s national championship is continuing.

Ukrainian Shakhtar will face Latvian Ventspils, Armenian Banants and Uzbek Pakhtakor in Group C.

Serbian OFK, Turkmen MTTU, Lithuanian Kaunas and Georgian Sioni will compete in Group D.

The tournament will be held January 20-28. AzerTAg
