“These documents have been agreed in Algeria. The contracts about legal assistance and bilateral cooperation will be signed between Azerbaijan and India, Saudi Arabia soon," Justice Ministry International cooperation department chief Zaver Gafarov told the APA.

Gafarov said that as there are many Azerbaijanis living in Saudi Arabia, they mostly come across with court and arbitrary disputes.

"That is why it is necessary to create bilateral cooperation. There are also Azerbaijanis who committed crimes in our territory and hide in Saudi Arabia. The documents have been presented to the necessary institutions about the extradition of both men. One of them is in search because of human traffic the other for roguishness. There are eight Azerbaijanis in Saudi Arabia jails. We will try to agree on the extradition of the prisoners in future," he said.

Gafarov said that documents were signed with Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania and CIS countries on the extradition of the prisoners. "Azerbaijan realizes international legal assistance ad cooperation on the basis of bilateral and multilateral contacts. There is no problem with those countries about the extradition of the prisoners to Azerbaijan. There are four Azeri prisoners in Iran, eight in China. We got an agreement with China on the extradition of those prisoners," he said.

The official said that they mostly have problems with Russia. "According to Russia's law the decision of the court is necessary in all cases. As the regions are long way from the center, it takes a long time to send the documents and to get answer. There are cases that the extradition of the prisoner takes a year. We will try to meet with Russian partner soon and hold the negotiations," he said.
