Azerbaijan, Russia pen protocol for bridge construction over Samur river

Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov and his Russian counterpart Maksim Sokolov have signed a protocol on construction of a new bridge over the Samur River as they met at Samur border checkpoint. The document will also see reconstruction of the old bridge across the river.

The two ministers also discussed joint road and transport projects, and explored prospects for developing the bilateral cooperation.
