Number of pupils awarded with gold medals made public

The Main City Education Department made public the number of pupils finishing secondary schools with gold medals.

Head of Public Relation Sector of MCED Zamina Aligizi told APA that 20 pupils finished schools with gold medals in Baku this year. All of them got gold medals, all mark in new certificates, including the results of the final exams held by SSAC, are “5”.

Aligizi said that this figure increased in comparison with the last year when 18 pupils got gold and silver medals in Baku.

The sector chief also mentioned that 20 from 50 schools declared by president’s order as “The best school” and 51 from 100 teachers were awarded with the tile of “The best teacher” in Baku schools.
