'Abortion maybe prohibited in Azerbaijan'

Azerbaijan can prohibit abortion, said chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament Hadi Rajabli, APA reports.

Rajabli said that the prohibition of abortion can be reflected in Family Code and law “On protection of health”: “Serious complications are observed in abortion of child for sexual character. Abortion has been prohibited in several countries such as China, Iran. Abortion is savagery, homicide and the low level of sexual education of men.”

The committee chairman noted that abortion as an exception can be allowed in connection with some diseases.
