Pakistan, Iran to discuss regional peace and security

A Pakistani delegation led by Army Chief General Asim Munir will visit Tehran on August 24, Iran’s Foreign Ministry said.

The visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan and continuing Islamabad’s efforts to promote peace and security in the region.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation is expected to hold meetings with senior Iranian officials.

The trip comes as Tehran and Islamabad seek to deepen bilateral ties and coordinate on regional security and stability.
