Japan, the United States, and the Republic of Korea have strongly condemned North Korea's recent launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), calling it a violation of current UN Security Council resolutions, according to Azernews.

Their special representative for North Korea emphasized that Pyongyang's actions pose a "serious and momentary danger to regional security" and represent a challenge to the entire international community.

In response to this provocative act, Tokyo, Washington, and Seoul have reaffirmed their commitment to close cooperation, particularly in strengthening joint regional deterrence forces.

This coalition is not only focused on immediate security concerns but also on long-term strategies to address North Korea's escalating missile programs.

Interestingly, this latest missile launch occurs against a backdrop of increasing military activities in the region, including joint exercises among the three allies. These drills aim to enhance interoperability and readiness to respond to potential threats from North Korea, showcasing a unified front.
