Party of Armenian acting Prime Minister lacks 0.08 pct of votes to single-handedly form gov't

The Civil Contract party of the acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan did not get 0.08% in the early parliamentary elections to single-handedly form the government, getting 53.92%, the CEC reported after processing all 2,008 polling stations, Trend reports citing TASS.

According to the CEC, the Armenia bloc of ex-president Robert Kocharian comes second with 21.04%.

08:38 (GMT+4) The Civil Contract party of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is gaining 53.98% of the votes in the early parliamentary elections held in the country on June 20, the CEC reported on Monday, Trend reports citing Armenian media.

According to CEC, after processing data from 99% of polling stations.

The second place is still held by the Armeniabloc of ex-President Robert Kocharian, which gains 21.1%. Kocharian's scores increased after counting ballots from 2,003 out of 2,008 polling districts.

It is followed by the I Have Honor alliance bloc of ex-President Serzh Sargsyan (5.21% of the votes) and Gagik Tsarukyan's party Prosperous Armenia (3.96%).

07:35 (GMT+4) At 7:00 am the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has counted 95.8% of the ballots of the snap parliamentary elections held in Armenia, Trend reports citing Armenian media.

The votes were distributed as follows:

1. Civil Contract Party: 54.21%

2. “Armenia” bloc: 20.89%

3. “I Have Honor” bloc: 5.25%

4. Prosperous Armenia Party: 3.99%

5. Republic Party: 3.03%

06:34 (GMT+4) At 6:10 am the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has counted 86.4% of the ballots of the snap parliamentary elections held in Armenia, Trend reports citing Armenian media.

The votes were distributed as follows:

1. Civil Contract Party: 55.02%

2. “Armenia” bloc: 20.41%

3. “I Have Honor” bloc: 5.23%

4. Prosperous Armenia Party: 4.1%

5. Republic Party: 3.01%

04:53 (GMT+4) The Civil Contract party of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is gaining 55.61% of the votes in the early parliamentary elections held in the country on June 20, the CEC reported on Monday, Trend reports citing TASS.

According to CEC, after processing data from 75.9% of polling stations, this figure has decreased and is approaching 54%. This percentage allows one to form a government.

The second place is still held by the Armeniabloc of ex-President Robert Kocharian, which gains 20.01%. Kocharian's scores increased after counting ballots from 1,525 out of 2,008 polling districts. When the data from half of the polling stations were processed, the Armenia block gained 18.75%.

It is followed by the I Have Honor alliance bloc of ex-President Serzh Sargsyan (5.27% of the votes) and Gagik Tsarukyan's party Prosperous Armenia (4.3%).

It is followed by former President Robert Kocharyan's bloc, which is scoring 18.75% of votes, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said after counting ballots from 50% of polling stations, Trend reports citing TASS.

It is followed by former President Robert Kocharyan's bloc, which is scoring 18.14% of votes, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said after counting ballots from 21.7% of polling stations, Trend reports citing TASS.

According to CEC, next are former President Serzh Sargsyan's I Have Honor alliance (5.63% of votes), and businessmen Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party (4.78%).

00:23 (GMT+4) Party of acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan "Civil Contract" leads the parliamentary elections in Armenia with 58.04% of votes, according to the data of the CEC on the results of processing about 4% of stations, Trend reports citing TASS.
